#2 Package Arrival

- Gunpla Arrivals -

#2 What Just Came In

Hey guys, just a little update on my Gunpla. A small package just came in today - there wasn't all that much in the box but I can safely say that I was a little excited for it to come, perhaps a little too excited. You might understand why when you see what came in.
P.S I am still working on the Tamiya Enamel Paint Review. Just haven't had much time and I wanted to wait for the airbrush to come so I can take some pictures of it. Now lets get back to the post shall we?

There wasn't all too much as you can see but might be able to understand why I was so excited.

This book has amazing artwork in it! The drawings are actually that good.

The paint brush cost em about $1. Just plan to use it for handbrushing detail for pipes and the like.

Now what iv'e been waiting for. A brand new airbrush!
I have the Sotar 20/20 but it sometimes struggles shooting through thicker paints. Its just for acrylic paints. It was my first airbrush and I shot through primer, Tamiya acrylic paint and top coat through it. It did a very good job but it wasn't designed for modelling. Nonetheless if you find a good deal on it and want to start off with a much praised airbrush then the Sotar will do you just fine. Just be aware that enamels and lacquers will not work with the Sotar as it is an illustrators brush so thick paints such as enamels and lacquers will be too thick.  I also had the Badger Krome and that was a great airbrush but wanted something a little more simple but that's a different story for a different day (post?)

That was just a quick update on my Gunpla related goods. Im actually in the process of making a 'Tamiya Enamel Review', a 'Procon Boy FWA Review' and a 'MG Wing Gundam EW Review/Painted Build Showcase'.
You can expect to see an unboxing of the Procon Boy FWA and a first impressions post of the Procon Boy very soon in the future. They should both be up within the week.

A review of the Sotar 20/20 in the eyes of a modeller will be up sometime in the future as well as a Vallejo Air Review. They may not be up for another 6 months, it just depends if I can fit it into my schedule with Uni and finding a new job as well as all the other Gunpla related things.

On a concluding note, thanks heaps for dropping by and be sure to tune back for more news, updates and reviews!
